As the snow is currently sending everyone into panic and I am snowed in and can't get to work, I thought I would seize it by the ankles and show you a few of my charity shop coats.

I am a massive coat hoarder and they have all been from charity shops; Leather jacket, Levi Jacket, suede jacket, teddy coat, oversized boyfriend trench coat. I mean none of them compare to my mum's recent find but thats getting a post of it's own, but still I have a good collection. If you notice all listed have been 'on trend" (CRINGE) but I went out and found them for half the price. In fact the most expensive one listed was the real leather jacket which I think was a fiver a few years back from Sue Ryder. Actually, thinking about it they all were from Sue Ryder. We have quite a big one here in Northampton and they have really good sale racks, the suede jacket and trench coat were £2 each.

The oversized trench is a BHS coat, it's meant to be oversized but also too big for me so a bit bigger than oversized. I haven't worn it out yet because I felt like a first year in Hogwarts, you know the oversized wizard school uniform vibe but after these pictures I feel better about it. Yes, I am allowed to say that and it doesn't make me big headed.

This is my latest coat purchase, again a sale rack coat. It's bit dressier than my other coats but it was £2.50 from Willen Hospice and I thought it would be a good work/fancy Nancy coat. It's originally a M&S coat and looks pretty much brand new so that came back to live with me and my other coats. I am still getting to grips with describing the clothes, I mean there's a picture soooo.... The buttons are really cute.

Finally, (because another blizzard came and ruined our photography session) my cheat teddy coat. Now some people will really hate this, but I don't care. It's not as fancy as the ones in the high street shops, but I also don't pay over a tenner for a coat so I am pretty happy with it. It's also my third one, first one was cream but didn't have pockets. It got me through last winter and survived a red wine incident so I have fond memories but because of the lack of pockets was donated back to a charity shop - don't fret, the red wine was completely gone (white wine vinegar). Number 2 was grey with pockets and was donated to my sister due to lack of space, mostly due to all the coats. Which brings me to trusty number 3, very reliable and with pockets. It's my hangover/can't be asked/not wearing a bra so keep me warm coat. It cost me a couple of quid, I think it was from Sue Ryder but it was a while ago. I see these coats EVERYWHERE in charity shops in all kinds of colours. My sister talked me out of getting a blue one a while back and I haven't forgave her, Lucy I'm talking to you. Anyway, If you are after a cheap alternative check the rails, guarantee you will find one.

I hope you have all stayed warm and safe, I love the snow but I know it can really fuck people over. Oh, on that note! I know loads of people are but please be mindful of the homeless people in your towns. If you are making a trip to town and have old scarves, gloves and hats pop them in your bag just in case you see someone in need. Im not preaching, just saying.

Thank you for all your support on instagram and taking the time to read this.
