I had no intention of venturing out this weekend to browse charity shops but it just kind of happened that way, as it often does. I have been trying to keep on top of my to do list otherwise I become sluggish and before I know it it's Monday. I am currently living between 2 homes and have noticed I can live at one without needing clothes from the other so set out to have a clear out. I managed to fill one of those jumbo sports direct bags so got rid of a fair bit and dropped it at the British Heart foundation in town. This is my go to drop off point for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I don't tend to shop there, i'm a hoarder and worry I would freak out and buy it all back. Secondly we have a gift aid card for them and they send us emails about how much money our donations have raised, we moved out of our flat a couple of months ago so it's actually a fair bit but it's really nice to see. So sign up and get yourself one of these bad boys, I have popped a link to there web page below.

On the way back we stopped at Sue Ryder, they constantly seem to be having a sale and not much is over £3. Im currently on the hunt for some jeans because mine just aren't cutting it, I didn't find any but I did find these corduroy trousers. I'm pretty sure they were previously owned by a little old lady but I love them, so much in fact I picked up the same pair in Navy. They have an elasticated waist and the black seem to be a little bigger on me but they are comfy as hell. They are more of a boot cut so I have rolled them up, I may look into actually cutting the bottom of one of the pairs.

Trousers £3, Top £1, Bag £2

As well as the 2 pairs of granny trousers I purchased this white jumper top, it has a high neck and is nothing special but I seem to collect them, they are perfect for anything and I often just throw one on for work. Finally, I was just about to leave the shop and I came across this little bag. Because i'm living inbetween two homes at the moment I keep being left without and end up taking a rucksack out with only a purse in it. So in my mind buying another handbag is totally justified. I don't do brown bags, I just never use them but this is a deep reddish colour.

(hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha)

I wanted to take my new clothes out for a spin and try and get some photos, I failed. I guess the point is to show you the clothes and although this may not be my greatest angle you get the gist and I actually quite like it, so there.

While we were out in Duston Village we had a ponder down to the charity shops on the front just on the off chance they were open on a Sunday. The Extra Care shop was open, I have popped the website link below. It is not a charity I have heard much of but they focus on the elderly and housing I believe. I haven't been there many times but when I do they seem to have nice things and it's quite reasonably priced and I found stuff! I picked up a really nice shirt with a delightful collar, think I'm going to wear this to work with a pinafore dress. I also brought a woollen Jumper which I haven't done for ages because I put a strict ban on myself a few years ago after my collection got out of hand. I think the jumper was £5 and the shirt was £2.99 so hardly breaking the bank.

I hope I haven't bored you to much x
